Carol

I am LOVING the World Treasure stamp set!  I had a ball making my Carol card using Island Indigo, Elegant Eggplant and Lucky Limeade.  Of course, I also had to add some bling to make this card sparkle even more!

Ann

Ann

I found this wonderful ribbon at a scrapbook shop in Payson and I have been dying to use it!  At first I bought it to put around cupcakes on my cupcake swaps for the Cupcake Retreat, but when I was putting together my second corset card the other day I knew the yellow ribbon had a new home!!!

Suzette

Suzette

I absolutely LOVE making Corset Cards!  They are fun, I can be as creative and wild as I want and the sky is the limit!

Typically I make a special "Feature" card for the hostesses of my card boutiques, but this time I thought I deserved a special Feature card of my own!

So this is my alter ego, Suzette, for my inner burlesque dancer!

And I found the PERFECT sentiment for the inside of my card to go with it perfectly!

How much fun is that!!!

Wait until you see my next Corset card, Ann!  She is a BEAUT!

August Virtual Card Class

I am LOVING our Virtual Card Class this year and I must say the August Popcorn Card has got to be my favorite!  Aside from the fact that I LOVE popcorn, I have a ginormous popcorn painting on the wall in my living room and we eat it almost every night, I just love the colors.  It is happy and cheery, beyond colorful and super fun to make!

I can't wait to send out the card and stamp kits to my crew and see what they come up with!!!

Happy Stamping!

3-D Ornament

My Christmas in July class is coming up next weekend and I still had to finish the last of the card series.  I totally wanted to wait until the pre-order for the new holiday catalog to come out so I could "wow" the ladies and I am so glad that I did!  I am LOVING the new ornament framelits with the coordinating stamps and who can't love the 3-D effects of the ornaments?

I also wanted to see if I could finagle my new ink favorites of Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green into the card line-up.  Needless to say, I did AND I even threw in Midnight Muse for the fun of it!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

This past weekend I got to go back home and visit my mom for her birthday, have a wonderful little happy hour for her and of course, make her a birthday card!  She is getting ready to move into a new house and one of her rooms has a yellow, gray and black theme and I thought this card would be PERFECT for her birthday and possibly as an accent piece in the room!

I kept the front generic with no sentiment, just in case the card makes it into the new room!  =)  Hint, hint, hint.

I will honestly admit that I am not a fan of braying.  I hate the mess, I hate cleaning the dang gone thing and I hate that my fingers are a wreck afterwards.  However, with this card I made an exception and I am glad that I did.  I had to redo this several times to get the white embossing to pop and I am quite happy with the results.

I did a quick bray job with Basic Grey on white paper and then embossed over it with white.  Up close the effect is super cool with the different color texture and I am considering rethinking my disdain for the brayer! MAYBE!  =)

Happy Stamping!

Vintage Charm

I am LOVING Raspberry Ripple!  Under normal circumstances I would have used Cherry Cobbler for this card, but after making one of my other cards, I had to try out the Raspberry Ripple and I can honestly say I am not disappointed!

Inspiration Piece
I absolutely LOVED this card.  Although it was something that I loved all of the different nuances, it just wasn't going to work for me with all of the different layers and brad.  So I tweaked it a bit and got to use the Raspberry Ripple in the process!

My Version

I also got to use the Lovely Little Labels stamp set with coordinating punches and I FELL IN LOVE!   Talk about fun to use.

Inside

As much as I love the outside of the card, I think the inside is my favorite!  I just love the quote and it goes perfect with the vintage charm of this card!

If you would like to order "Vintage Charm", she is $4.50, includes shipping and a coordinating envelope.

Help! I Need a Name

One of the things I do to keep track of all of my cards is name them.  Most of the time I name them after my friends and family and my cousins are always popping out babies like there is no tomorrow so I typically have a plethora of names to use.  However, I think I am running out!  I even bought a baby name book and I am STILL having issues with finding just the right name for a couple of my cards.  So if you have any wonderful ideas, PLEASE leave them in the comments!

One of which is this one.

Help!  I need a name.

I haven't really had a chance to play with too many of the new stamps and certainly not the new In-Colors, but I am definitely in love with Raspberry Ripple!

Stamps:  World of Treasures, Summer Silhouette
Inks:  Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green
Misc: Gumball Green Ribbon, Apothecary Art Framelit, Lace Embossing Folder

My card was actually inspired by someone else's card, but I can't for the life of me figure out where I found it at!

Inspiration Card

So if you know whose super cute card this is, please let me know!

But if you could totally help me come up with a name for my new card, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Happy Stamping,
Suzanne
